Pierre Zobda-Quitman Hospital
Earthquake-resistant design and execution studies for a 28,000 m² hospital technical platform.
The technical platform groups the medical and surgical activities of the University Hospital Centre. It is an isosceles triangle with a 128 m side, with no expansion joint and no partition walls, braced by façade walls, patios, lift shafts and stairs, and founded on 298 isolators (Ø500 to Ø850) and 36 dampers of 200 t. Vifatec’s engineer carried out earthquake-resistant design and the execution study.
